How to Play Mini Car Ball
The controls of Mini Car Ball are straightforward and easy. Use the arrow keys or the WASD pad to control your car and position it in the best way to either hit the soccer ball into the goal, or block your opponent from making progress downfield. As you keep on playing Mini Car Ball, you will learn how to control your momentum and become a better player.
The other key control that you must master when learning how to play Mini Car Ball is the boost. After a certain amount of time, your car will be granted the boost ability. Press Shift or Enter to activate your boost. This burst will allow you to rapidly accelerate for a very short amount of time. Use this when you’re either in a pickle, or looking to get extremely aggressive.

Mini Car Ball takes a bit of time to get the hang of. The movement can feel a little bit funny at first, and going head-to-head against an opponent is never easy. However, we have a few strategies that should help you improve within a short amount of time.
Use your boost wisely
The boost is the most critical part of Mini Car Ball. If you are able to utilize your boost effectively, you are guaranteed to at least be competitive with the other player. Don’t just randomly sprint from one end of the field to the other. Move with intention and make sure that you save it for something important. This could be boosting to score a goal, or boosting to block your opponent right before they take a shot. It's a precious resource, so make sure that you use it wisely.
Be ready to defend
The more aggressive you get on offense, the more you open yourself up to counterattacks. You must always have defense in the back of your mind if you want to be a truly great Mini Car Ball player. Defense is just as important as offense, so give it the respect that it deserves.
Pay attention to the angles
Angling yourself properly is another important part of Mini Car Ball. The more head-on that you strike the ball, the more power you will generate into the shot.
Once you gain a good feel for this, you can start getting craftier by hitting the ball off the walls and back to yourself. This change in angles will make you a more deceptive and powerful player. Tricking your opponents and creating opportunities is the name of the game, so make sure to really focus on the angles and get your control down.
Experiment with different game modes
There are three different game modes that you can check out when learning how to play Mini Car Ball: Quick Match, Local Co-op, and Tournament play. Each of these game modes has its own set of characteristics, so play around with them and see what works best for you.
Quick Match
Hop in a match and play for 90 seconds of pure excitement. This is a great way to see if Mini Car Ball is for you, with very little commitment needed. Whether you are just trying to get a feel for the game, or have somewhere to be soon, quick match works for all kinds of people.
Local Co-op
If you are with another friend and want to chase that thrill that only in-person competition can give you, then the local co-op mode is a great resource! Two people can play Mini Car Ball at once in this mode, with one player taking the arrow keys while the other uses the WASD keypad.
Tournament
Strap in for this 8-person Mini Car Ball matchup. You must win 3 games in a row against various countries in order to win and crown yourself the champion. If you have a good chunk of time to play, then tournament play is probably the most rewarding game mode to play.
