Instructions
If you enjoy answering our monthly trivia questions, you're going to love this. When you load the game, you'll see three options in the main menu:
Play Online Multiplayer
Tap the "Play Random Opponents" button on the main menu to search for an opponent.
The goal of every match is to answer more questions correctly than your opponent. Every match consists of 12 questions. You'll have 15 seconds to answer each question.
If you're falling behind, don't worry - later questions are worth more points. Some questions will be worth double: they'll be marked orange in the game progress bar at the top of the quiz screen. You'll also see it indicated by the 'Multiplier 2x' pop-up onscreen.
Create Match
Invite your friends, play in four unique modes, and customize the types of questions you'll get.
There are four base modes:
- Versus - Same as "Play Random Opponents". 12 questions, answer more of them correctly than your opponent to win.
- Hardcore Versus - After the third question, you'll be eliminated immediately after making a mistake. You'll get more points for answering quickly. At the end of the game, the player with the most points wins.
- Co-op - Everyone is on the same team. Answer 8 or more questions correctly to win. Only one person on the team needs to answer, but other members can change the team answer if they tap another option.
- Teams - Tap the "Team & Questions" tab to split into multiple teams. Answer quickly, because speed matters!
Only some categories are selected by default. If you'd like to customize the questions you receive, tap the "Questions" tab and check/uncheck trivia categories as you see fit. (Keep coming back here - we'll be adding even more fun categories in the future!)
If you want to invite your friends, tap the "Invite Friends" at the bottom of the game area to copy the invite link, and send it to your friends. You can also copy the match ID in the bottom left of the game area, and ask your friend to type it into the "Match ID or URL" field in the main menu.
Browse Matches
If you want to play your custom game, set it to "Public" to let other players join from the "Browse Matches" menu, which you can access from the main menu.
